Employee Spotlight: Emiliano Bossio

Without its team of world-class technologists, the Cybba office is just another trendy, converted warehouse with exposed brick. Cybba builds teams of innovative, analytical, and tenacious tech professionals to breathe life into every aspect of the company’s operations. Each individual elevates Cybba’s services from simply digital to truly transformational.

We are spotlighting Emiliano Bossio, Account Manager for Cybba Brazil. Read on to learn about his passion for gastronomy and other surprising talents.

How long have you been in this position?

I’ve been working as an account manager for the past 5 years: 1½ years at Cybba and 3½ years for another company.

How did you start at Cybba and what made you want to join?

I was referred by a friend that was working for Cybba at the time. I needed a change but wanted to keep working in the digital industry. That friend described Cybba as a small, friendly environment with a performance-oriented startup mindset, and they just opened a brand new office in Brazil. So I said, ‘why not?,’ looked for a job opening that I could be a fit for, and applied to join.

What tips would you give someone entering the advertising industry?

I would say ‘don’t take everything at face value’ in the sense that you should always be questioning, rethinking, and taking a deeper dive on things. Our job isn’t set in stone no matter what our job description says. We should always be learning new things and finding new ways to solve problems every day.

What is something that most people don’t know about you?

That I love to cook (and I consider myself to be pretty good at it!)

What is your favorite place in São Paulo?

Ibirapuera Park. It’s a fantastic green spot at the heart of this huge concrete-built São Paulo city.

How has Cybba helped in your career development?

I’ve learned a lot over the past 18 months here at Cybba. Even though I came from the digital world and was used to a remote, international company structure, I still needed to work on my coordination and time management skills. I’m also learning new ways to work with different cultures.

What do you find the most challenging at Cybba?

Managing expectations. I find it challenging and rewarding to balance client, end customer, and internal expectation all at the same time.

What has been your proudest moment at Cybba?

I’ll tell you soon… don’t wanna ruin the surprise!

If you could switch your job with anyone else within Cybba, whose job would you want?

I think I would move over to the AdOps team. I’d like witness the fantastic work those guys do every day, [but if I joined the team] I’m sure they would get sick of me and all my questions right away!
