Describe yourself in 3 words:

Creative, quiet, curious

What does your day-to-day at Cybba look like?

I’m currently residing in the Bay Area of California so I start my day a little later than the rest of my team in Boston. I hop on Slack, say good morning and catch up on convos I’ve missed - then I get to work designing creatives for our wide range of clients. On my lunch break I love going on walks to see what new flowers have sprung up around me – it seems like something new is always blooming here!

What’s your favorite project you’ve worked on at Cybba and why?

Its hard to choose because of all the different brands we get to work with – and honestly that’s what I love about this job! It is truly fast-paced and diverse. Everyday is different and brings new challenges. I enjoy projects where I get to work closely with the tech team to come up with new capabilities. I’m always amazed by their coding skills and enjoy making it all look good!

If you could choose any other career, what would it be and why?

My partner’s dream is to own a dog rescue and my dream is to live in Vermont and make jams from berries I grow so a mix of that would be wonderful! I think that’s what they call “Retirement”.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?

Trust your gut

What’s a secret talent or hobby of yours?

Outside of work hours I’m also a singer/guitarist in a band. I love the creative process of song writing and collaborating with people. Now that the world is opening back up again, we’re starting to play out more and will hopefully do a little traveling together as well.

Where is your favorite place you've traveled and why?

In 2018 my band got the opportunity to go to Europe to tour Germany, Switzerland, The Czech Republic and Italy. Just typing that out I still can’t believe I’ve been to all those places! Traveling with a band is fun but exhausting because you’re never in a place for more than 24 hours. But that means you squeeze in lots of sites, cities, and new friends. The drives can be very beautiful and sometimes we would just see a pretty mountain or water and stop the van to look at it. We had a day off during the tour and were able to stay at a beautiful Villa right on Lake Como in Italy during the offseason. I had THE best pasta meal of my life and my first Aperol Spritz with all my best friends on a beautiful lake. It was a dream!
