Employee Spotlight: Anthony Gaita

Without its team of world-class technologists, the Cybba office is just another trendy, converted warehouse with exposed brick.  Cybba builds teams of innovative, analytical, and tenacious tech professionals to breathe life into every aspect of the company’s operations. Each individual elevates Cybba’s services from simply digital to truly transformational.

We are spotlighting Anthony Gaita, one of the sales team’s finest.  Read on to learn about the fire he brings to the Cybba sales machine as an Account Executive.

How long have you been in this position?

I’ve been in this position for 5 months.

How did you start at Cybba and what made you want to join?

I joined the Cybba team because I always wanted to be in the marketing and advertising space. I was excited for the opportunity to work with Cybba’s brand partners.

What tips would you give an Account Executive entering the industry?

Quality over quantity.

What do you enjoy the most about your career?

The ability to truly be consultative. A lot of companies claim to take a consultative approach and then push their own agenda. At Cybba, we have access to so many tools that we can confidently construct a unique plan for every one of our clients.

What is something that most people don’t know about you?

I know you’d never guess by my last name, but my family owns a few restaurants in the Boston area.

What brands or companies do you admire?

SoulCycle and 5 Guys Burgers and Fries. Both company founders ignored the advice of their peers to build out businesses that targeted a highly-specific niche market.  By committing to their business models and truly understanding their customers’ needs, they created their own empires.

What is your favorite place in Boston?

Toro, hands down. I love to eat, but I love eating there more than anywhere else. If you like good food, that’s the spot.

What are you currently binge-watching?
Dead To Me on Netflix

How has Cybba helped in your career development?
Cybba really helped me understand the way business gets done outside of the SaaS world.

What do you find the most challenging about your work at Cybba?

When I first started, learning about the affiliate world. It was something that I didn’t have any exposure to previously. That said, all of the senior reps and directors made it easy for me to catch up within a couple of weeks.

What is your proudest moment at Cybba?
Being able to see how the effort and ideas of the team has really enabled us to grow as an organization. It’s great to be able to see the fruits of everyone’s labor.

If you could switch your job with anyone else’s at Cybba, what job would you want?

I think it would have to be something in Marketing. I don’t think it would be a permanent change, but I would love to see what happens day-to-day for myself.
