Andrew Jaroncyk is a Product Analyst at Cybba. Find out what Andrew's day-to-day at Cybba looks like, how he would describe himself, his favorite binge-worthy show, and more!
Describe yourself in 3 words:
Passionate, Collaborative, Motivated
What does your day-to-day at Cybba look like?
I log in for the day and immediately log into JIRA to see what’s going on for Development Work and what I need to prioritize for the day. My day really gets going after our Daily Scrum we have with our Developers, Analysts, and Directors. From there, my day typically goes into building out Internal Reporting Dashboards in AWS QuickSight, troubleshooting any data discrepancies in our database tables, and working with the Director of Product Management in building out our data assets in a SCRUM environment. It’s fast-paced and my role allows me to pivot between numerous projects seamlessly!
What’s your favorite project you’ve worked on at Cybba and why?
I’ve been working on some Log-Level Analytics work for our Lynk product, where we are working on developing, training, and testing custom Machine Learning (ML) models in AWS SageMaker using this data. It’s a super interesting Data Science & ML project I’m passionate about!
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received?
Be a student of life and of the opportunities it presents you – it’s most important lesson it’s taught me thus far is “someone who says can and someone who says they can’t are both usually right; it’s up to you to decide which someone are you.”
If you could switch jobs with anyone else at Cybba, who would it be and why?
This is a tough one… it would be cool to be a Media Specialist for a day to see how we leverage our stack of AdTech solutions for our clients, but in a close second, I would also really enjoy being an Account Manager for a day – that team looks like such a fun one to work with and is led by some incredible individuals!
What are you binge-watching right now?
For All Mankind on Apple TV+! Imagine if the USSR won the “Space Race” to the Moon, but infuse elements of geopolitics, aerospace engineering, and a bit of drama – there have been some really late nights with this show, but it’s worth being tired the next day!
What’s your most-used productivity hack?
Get myself a tall cup (or two) of coffee and get after it! Believe it or not, I’m slightly more productive when I’m not listening to music, going against the grain here! I just allow myself, with the help of caffeine, to focus on achieving one small step at a time, and before I know it, I get on a roll quickly.
Look at your phone – what’s your most-used emoji?
