What does your day-to-day at Cybba look like?
I typically start my day at Cybba with some coffee while I go through my daily tasks that I either won't have time to complete during the day or that are needed to be utilized by team members at some point that day. After going through all email communication from clients or partners that may have sent after-hours the day before, my day usually varies between management work and client work, ensuring that all my department is operating as efficiently as possible by reviewing data from our digital ad campaigns, performing daily check-ups with my team, and exploring opportunities for optimizations and growth -- all while making sure my own book of accounts are running smoothly.
What is your favorite trend you've seen in marketing recently?
Brands being creative with OOH inventory. With people going back into physical offices and traveling, out-of-home advertising is a great opportunity to get creative with brand awareness plays. Now with DOOH increasing in popularity, it's easier than ever to track brand uplift and even post-view engagement.
What's one thing every online brand should do?
Diversify how you hit your target audience. Touch points (both physical and digital) are an important factor in how brands connect with their audience. Approach each channel with a different intent and KPI -- this helps play into your brands authority in their specific vertical, establish brand credibility, and position your brand favorably with your audience.
If you could choose any other career, what would it be and why?
I would most likely be an oyster farmer -- I worked as one growing up and I really enjoyed being on the water every day, being part of a cultivation process while working with (and often against) nature.
What are you binge-watching right now?
Full-Swing, but if it's not my turn with the remote probably some murder documentary or something.
Where is your favorite place you've traveled to and why?
My favorite place that I've traveled to would be probably be Costa Rica. The weather conditions were incredible. I was able to surf every day, whenever I wanted.
Look at your phone – what’s your most-used emoji?
The Laughing Emoji -- I talk to a lot of funny people I guess.
