What does your day-to-day look like?
Each day is different, but I always start with the same routine every morning. I create my to-do list, follow up on emails, and check my schedule for any meetings that day. For client work, I check performance and metrics for my campaigns and meet with clients to discuss strategies.
What's your favorite trend you've seen in marketing recently?
Definitely influencer marketing. As a consumer, this kind of marketing works so well for me. I also don't see influencer marketing going away anytime soon. It's interesting to see how advertisers can partner with influencers and how flawless some of these campaigns are executed. Sometimes they're so good you don't even realize it's an ad!
What's your favorite campaign you've worked on and why?
I work with a lot of higher education partners and I love strategizing new and creative ways to increase performance. Whether that's boosting lead gen with our MarTech solutions, paid social strategies, or even increasing brand awareness via higher funnel tactics like audio and video campaigns.
What's the biggest risk you've ever taken?
Leaving my job, my family, friends, familiarity, and uprooting my life to move to Maui a few years ago. Definitely one of the scariest things I've ever done because I was leaving so much behind, but I really loved my time on the island. I was there for about 2 years and it taught be how to be a bit more spontaneous and really enjoy relaxing. Happy to be back on the mainland, but I'll always cherish my time there!
Best piece of advice you've ever received?
A coworker at my very first job out of college told me it's always better to overcommunicate and I've taken this piece of advice with me throughout my professional career. So much can go wrong with miscommunication, so I strive to communicate in a way that gets the message across clearly. I find this to be one of my strengths and I've worked to perfect it over the years.

What's a secret talent of yours?
I can play the piano by ear! So I can hear a song and figure out how to play it fairly quickly.
If you could switch places with anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
If he was still alive I would say Anthony Bourdain. I would love to travel the world like he did, try different foods, connect with new people, experience other cultures. That is truly a dream of mine.
