How long have you been in this position?
I joined the Cybba team in August 2017 so I am coming up on the year and a half mark.
How did you start at Cybba and what made you want to join?
I started at Cybba because I was looking to grow my career knowledge and experience. The culture and overall vibe of the office really drew me in when I was interviewing.
What tips would you give a new marketer entering the industry?
Start by getting a solid grasp of the current operations of the marketing department. From there, don’t be afraid to collaborate and brainstorm new ideas while looking at optimizations that can be made.
What do you enjoy the most about your career?
I enjoy the opportunity to be creative in the work I do, and working with like-minded individuals in cross-functional teams.
What is something that most people don’t know about you?
I have a slight sneaker addiction, and starting to run out of room for storage. As an estimate, I own over 25 pairs of sneakers.
What brands/companies do you personally admire?
One of the top brands I admire would be Nike (due to sneaker addiction). I also enjoy shopping on Amazon, and how they have made my life so much more convenient thanks to Alexa.
What is your favorite place in Boston?
My favorite place in Boston is a tough question since I have lived the majority of my life here. I would say that it is a tie between the Boston Garden and my favorite sneaker shop, Bodega.
What are you currently binge-watching?
Currently re-binging HBO’s The Wire (it is better than the Sopranos).
How has Cybba helped in your career development?
Cybba has helped in my career development by exposing me to numerous functions of a business. I have also been able to hone my project management skills to be more organized and productive.
What do you find the most challenging at Cybba?
I think one of the most challenging aspects of Cybba is the pace of the company. I like this challenge because I am always on the go. We are constantly growing and expanding in all areas of the company, We are challenged to move and act fast to keep pace with our growth.
What is your proudest moment at Cybba?
My proudest moment at Cybba so far has been being a part of the team that rebuilt and relaunched our website after only being a part of the company for a few short months.
If you could switch your job with anyone else within Cybba, whose job would you want?
If I could switch jobs with anyone else within Cybba, I would want to join the Ad Ops team. I think the strategies that go into our media buying and campaign optimizations are fascinating. They are always looking for new ways to get the best results for our clients, and the ability to see real-time results and statistics from the campaigns are really interesting to me.
